This class will focus on showcasing nutrition as a critical part of health and development that is related to improved infant, child and maternal health, stronger immune systems, safer pregnancy and child birth, low risk of non communicable diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease and longevity. The objective of this course is to ensure that participants attain the skills to prepare and preserve vegetables in such a way as to maintain vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and essential nutrients for maximum health benefits.
